With a total investment volume of over 2 billion euros, we are involved in an average of approximately 20 to 25 ongoing project developments. Equity

Through joint ventures, Competo partners with project developers to provide capital for developments in the office, residential, retail, logistics, and hotel sectors.

Our risk profile allows us to step in even when conventional requirements, such as building rights or pre-letting, are not yet fully in place. These can be established together as the process unfolds – a clear added value for our project partners.

Our participation terms are flexible and tailored individually to each project. Instead of rigid, standardized models, we evaluate every investment based on its specific risk profile.

Mezzanine capital

For project developments with a low risk profile, Competo provides mezzanine capital as a flexible financing bridge between bank loans and equity.

Mezzanine capital is applied across residential, office, retail, logistics, and hotel projects, with maturities of one to three years and a fixed interest rate without profit participation. A prerequisite for financing is that key factors such as building rights and pre-letting are already in place at the time of funding.

Our mezzanine capital is invested both in project developments in which Competo participates with equity and in projects where the developer provides the equity independently.
