Competo BauConsult GmbH supports banks, investors and property owners in the technical and commercial implementation and management of real estate projects — from initial assessment through to final acceptance, as well as subsequent operation and long-term value preservation.

Monitoring for Banks and Investors

We support banks, investors and institutional lenders with independent, structured monitoring of construction projects.

Through regular target/actual comparisons, well-founded analyses and plausibility checks, we create transparency regarding costs, schedules and quality, as well as the current project status and the associated opportunities and risks — providing a reliable basis for decision-making within the financing process.

Our monitoring services can be flexibly adapted to project-specific requirements and, where needed, may include additional services such as assessment of the marketing status, contract and procurement reviews, invoice checks and approvals, support during acceptance procedures, and the assessment of defects.

    • Target/actual comparison of the project budget, including contract award status, cash flow and cost forecasts
    • Assessment of compliance with the agreed financing framework and the use of funds
    • Identification and evaluation of cost risks, particularly arising from change orders, forecast deviations and procurement developments
    • Plausibility checks of cost and payment flows based on the available project information

Client Representation

As part of an overarching client representation role, we assume comprehensive responsibility for safeguarding the client’s interests across all project phases. Our focus is on providing holistic and responsible project support in line with the client’s objectives.

Through active leadership and management of decision-making processes, as well as the overall course of the project, we ensure that the defined project goals — particularly with regard to costs, schedules and quality — are consistently met. This role also includes the leadership and coordination of all parties involved on behalf of the client, ensuring efficient collaboration and targeted project delivery.
